Currently rated as Good by Ofsted and SIAMS, Long Marston CE Primary School represents an excellent opportunity for a Headteacher to lead, shape and influence our future and ensure our continued success at an exciting time of growth. The role will have a teaching element which may vary dependent on changing needs.

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and experienced leader with a remit to further shape our improvement plan while continuing to raise standards and maximise pupil progress.

An outstanding teaching practitioner, you must have the ability to motivate, inspire and influence our children, staff and stakeholders. You will also direct our strategic planning, lead curriculum development and, above all, deliver an outstanding provision which meets the needs of all our pupils.

To succeed, you must be a proven leader and manager with a good understanding of the needs and demands of a rural school, a clear vision for our future and the ability to maximise pupil numbers. As a good communicator, you must also have the skills required to analyse and present data effectively. You will have the knowledge and skills to play a crucial role in working with the governors on financial management in times of constraint.
