About Hawes Community Primary School

We aim to provide a warm, welcoming and caring environment. We are fortunate to be situated in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales where family values are a great strength. We have very good relationships with parents, their extended families and the wider community which enables us to all work together in a trusting relationship for the benefit of the children. Our children are very lucky to have a natural adventure playground on their doorstep and the school capitalises on this asset by enabling upper KS2 to have weekly outdoor education lessons as part of their curriculum.

The support from everyone is overwhelming which enables the school to be very well resourced and demonstrates that the school is truly at the heart of the community.

We are proud of our happy well behaved children who enjoy being at school. They are keen and enthusiastic learners.

It is important to us that our Headteacher feels valued and supported in their career development. In return we are looking for someone who has drive, is inspirational, innovative and will lead our school to greater heights. We hope that this encourages you to apply to be our next Headteacher.
