Christian values are central to the ethos of our school and we aim to provide a curriculum that is fun, creative, enriched and challenging. We encourage all members of our school community to develop the skills and confidence to reach their full potential in every aspect of life. We strive to provide high standards of teaching and excellent learning opportunities in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. We believe that a strong partnership between school, home, parish and community is essential to our children’s development. At Cawood, everyone matters.
We are seeking to appoint a committed and experienced professional with a remit to further shape our improvement plan, while continuing to raise standards and promote the Christian faith in a way that is relevant and inspiring to young people.
An effective leader, motivator and team builder, you must have the ability and presence to inspire and influence pupils, staff and stakeholders, leading by example and encouraging collaboration. As well as assuming responsibility for all aspects of school life, you will also direct the school’s strategic planning, lead the development of the curriculum and deliver an outstanding provision which meets the needs of all our young people.
Creative and resilient, you must be able to demonstrate well-developed leadership skills and a talent for managing budgets. Approachable, visible, and at the heart of school life, you will promote ambition and equality throughout the school and its wider community. Some faith school experience is required.
In return, we can offer you strong support, the freedom to shape the future of the school, and the opportunity for your continued professional development.
