The school is heavily oversubscribed, judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2016 and subsequently awarded Greater Manchester School of the Year by Manchester Evening News.
Governors are looking for a practising Catholic who is an inspirational leader, with a proven track record in Senior Leadership, who:
• has a strong faith commitment and clear vision for Catholic education
• has vision, drive and enthusiasm to help shape the future of the school
• has a passion for teaching and learning
• has experience in raising standards of provision and the ability to lead the school forward as a ‘good’ and ultimately ‘outstanding’ provider of Catholic education
• has a secure knowledge of current educational issues with the ability to plan strategically and financially
We can offer you:
• leadership in a large school currently rated ‘good’ on a journey to outstanding
• a diverse pupil community whose gifts are many and varied
• a dedicated and fully committed workforce
• a supportive and forward thinking governing body that takes a keen interest in every aspect of school life
• the opportunity to be involved in the recruitment of Deputy Headteacher for September 2018
• support for your professional development, and support from the Diocese and local authority
