Headteacher

GNCC is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Head Teacher to lead our wonderful Nursery School and Daycare.

Grandpont serves an incredibly diverse community in the beautiful and historic surroundings of central Oxford. Our integrated centre includes brilliant outside play areas and gardens which support the curriculum and also engage parents and the wider community. 

We work with other Nursery Schools, local colleges, training organisations and the University to provide training placements for students and support to other EYFS settings throughout Oxfordshire.

This post provides a great opportunity and exciting challenges for a highly skilled early years educator. Our ideal candidate will:

• have a strong track record of being an effective leader and of providing children and families with education and care in an environment where they flourish 
• understand the current challenges facing children, families and schools and have innovative ideas about how these challenges can be faced positively and creatively
• be an excellent  early  years  teacher  with  deep knowledge and understanding of the EYFS statutory framework
• possess first class communication, collaboration and people skills, with the ability to build and lead effective  staff  teams and  positively engage  with a diverse community of children,  staff, parents and the wider community
