We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead The Deepings School forward into the next chapter of its exciting journey.

The Deepings School sits in the heart a vibrant, growing community in South Lincolnshire. Our aims are:

  • To provide a curriculum that delivers a breadth and depth of experience.
  • To develop the skills and attributes of our students in order to equip them to be successful and enterprising citizens.
  • To achieve the highest possible academic standards in order to optimise the opportunities available to our students.
  • To make learning enjoyable and challenging in order to provide our students with the motivation to improve throughout their lives.
  • To build a community that cares for and respects each other in order for our students to grow to be confident, compassionate adults.

The Deepings has been growing, developing and continually improving. The school currently has almost 1,500 students on roll with a wide range of experience within the staff body supported by Anthem’s specialist practitioners.

The Deepings School is part of Anthem Schools Trust, an education charity serving over 8,000 children and young people in 16 schools across the East Midlands, London and the Thames Valley.

We are looking to appoint a Headteacher with a proven track record at either Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher level. As a senior leader in our organisation, the post-holder would be expected to embrace Anthem’s values of integrity, collaboration and excellence and work closely with other schools across the Trust, whilst enjoying the autonomy to further develop the school’s distinctive ethos.

In addition to a competitive salary, we provide high-quality leadership coaching and professional development and the opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic and ambitious schools trust. We would also consider a relocation package for the right candidate.

The Deepings School is a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school at the heart of The Deepings, a vibrant, growing community in South Lincolnshire. At The Deepings School we place great emphasis on partnership and co-operation between parents, students and staff to ensure each child receives the best possible education.  We encourage and welcome dialogue with all stakeholders of the school to achieve our aim of sustained improvement in all areas.

Our culture of care and positive relationships provide students with the confidence and independence they need to succeed both inside and outside school. We are also committed to ensuring that our students are positive leaders, strong problem-solvers and develop the life-skills required to prepare them for life after school.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, visitors, and volunteers to share in this commitment. All post holders are subject to an Enhanced DBS Check, suitable references, and other essential checks.
