The Trustees of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust wish to appoint a Headteacher to St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Pontefract.

The Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust is a well-established Trust entering its 6th year of operation. Within our academies are communities where our children and young people are given a clear vision for life, a vision which is rooted in the person and teachings of Jesus Christ and which is faithful to the mission of the Catholic Church.

St Joseph’s, Pontefract is one of 10 primary and 2 secondary academies. The academies work closely together to raise standards for the benefit of all our children. This appointment offers a great opportunity for a new Headteacher to take the academy onto the next stage of its journey.

• Can set a clear strategic direction and has an understanding of education and leadership in a Catholic School

• Is an excellent practitioner with an ability to inspire, lead and develop teaching and learning throughout the school
