Are you passionate about shaping young minds and creating a nurturing learning environment? We are thrilled to invite applications for the position of Head Teacher at our cutting-edge, state-of-the art new primary school in Brecon. This is an incredible opportunity to be the driving force behind an institution that will set new standards in education and empower generations to come. When the post commences in January 2024, the headteacher will lead on the new school staff structure and prepare for the opening of the new school in September 2024.
During Phase 1 the three successful schools; Cradoc County Primary School, Mount Street Infants School and Mount Street Junior School will merge into one school across three sites from September 2024.
Phase 2 will involve a new build, where all three schools come under one roof. The Head Teacher, in conjunction with the temporary governing body, will play a key role in the new school design and layout. This is planned to open in September 2026.
The Head Teacher will promote an inclusive community that strives to promote the success of all our pupils. As our pupils come from a wide range of backgrounds, the Head Teacher will work to promote equality and diversity with the school and the wider community.
