Churchfields Junior School is a very successful, high attaining school situated in the vibrant community of South Woodford. It is a four form entry school in a new building and there are 480 students currently on roll. The school offers an inclusive high quality learning environment to all its children and was judged by Ofsted as 'Outstanding' in December 2014. In addition to our strong academic profile we have a reputation for excellence in the creative and performing arts. Working towards maintaining our Ofsted judgement of 'Outstanding' is an absolute priority.

Due to the retirement of the Headteacher, the Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and highly motivated leader to take this highly effective outstanding school on the next phase of its journey.

You will be:

• An experienced leader with significant and proven leadership skills;
• Able to lead a strong team of inspirational and hard-working teachers including a highly effective Senior Leadership Team;
• Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills that will continue to build on the school's academic success and supportive ethos;
• A determined and resilient leader who is approachable, open, energetic, enthusiastic and who acts with integrity at all times.;
• Be able to articulate a clear and creative vision ensuring the development of all aspects of the rich and diverse curriculum we offer;
• Have an understanding and commitment to meeting the current and future challenges placed on schools.
