Values and vision

Robertson Community College wants all pupils to develop into independent and creative learners in a supportive and inspiring learning environment. The school wishes for students to grow into confident citizens, who are fully prepared for life in a modern and ever changing world. The East Sussex secondary school's vision is for students to enjoy learning and to become independent learners and recognise their talents and interests, while being supported by nurturing staff. The school follows six core values: progress, responsibility, confidence, engagement and respect. An inclusive community ethos is built through the school encouraging a strong partnership with parents. Students are encouraged to gain skills and interests outside of the classroom and a wide range of extra-curricular activities are on offer, ranging from sports to music club. Leadership is valued by the school and students have the opportunity to apply for a place on its active Student Council.

Ofsted
