Are you a talented Primary leader looking for a new exciting challenge?
If you are a current or aspiring headteacher, with the passion and commitment to lead and strengthen our school, we would like to hear from you.
Following the retirement of our headteacher in the summer of 2018, the Governors are looking to appoint an inspirational and innovative headteacher to lead our school to the next level of performance. Someone who will continue to challenge and improve the quality of teaching and learning; think strategically and creatively and support our children and families whilst maintaining positive relationships with staff, pupils, governors and the wider community.
As a large three form entry (F2-Y6 with 587 on roll) primary school, a commitment to consistency of approach and high expectations for all is vital.
We are looking for an experienced leader to drive the school improvement agenda, further raise attainment and accelerate progress for all children and young people, embracing the opportunities and support provided by the LA.
Candidates are expected to support the school’s promotion of British Values.
Our children love coming to a school where they feel safe and happy. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Informal discussions about the role and a visit to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact Sharon Sharpe, School Business Officer, on 01709 828665 or via email (bpsssharpe@rgfl.org) to make an appointment and/or to request a recruitment information pack.
Completed applications should be returned to bpsssharpe@rgfl.org for the attention of June Williams, Chair of the Governing Body.
Or by post marked FAO Mrs June Williams, Chair of Governors, Badsley Primary School, Badsley Moor Lane, Rotherham, S65 2QS
This post involves working with children and therefore if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records check at an enhanced level. Further information about the Disclosure Scheme can be found at www.gov.uk/disclosure-barring-service-check
