We are looking to appoint a Headteacher, who will bring great leadership, passion and vision to developing and delivering high quality education.
Our Headteacher must be able to maintain high expectations and challenge for all staff and students.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right Headteacher to drive and continue the development of our school towards ‘outstanding’.
Phoenix School is the education provision for adolescent in-patients at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield, and is a specialist provider for young people who are suffering from severe and/or complex mental health conditions.
Registered with the department for education in Summer 2016, the school went through a full OFSTED inspection within its first year, achieving ‘Good’ overall, with ‘Outstanding’ in personal development, behaviour and welfare. Inspectors were impressed by the ‘calm and purposeful atmosphere’ in the school, putting this down to the ‘trusting relationships’ built between staff and students.
As Headteacher, you will need to show commitment to our aims and values as well as have a demonstrable track record of inspirational leadership.
