Do you have the vision to lead Castleview School on the next step of its journey?

Castleview School is a vibrant, welcoming, and Ofsted rated Good primary school in Slough, with 479 students aged 3 -11 on roll. We have a relentless commitment to our core values of Teamwork, Resilience, Ambition, Creativity, Kindness and Respect, to help us reach our goal of every student leaving us academically qualified, culturally and globally aware, a good friend, and a good citizen. Castleview is an inclusive and diverse school with a strong local reputation and historically high achieving students.

Our dedicated staff at Castleview School have the highest aspirations for every student, with the broad and inspiring Castleview Curriculum ensuring that our children are assessment literate and provided with leadership skills from an early age. All members of the Castleview family are valued and supported, ensuring that they can achieve their very best. We work tirelessly for our children to be ready and excited for secondary school and the rapidly changing world beyond. We certainly have much to be proud of, but we are ambitious and not complacent. This is where you come in.

We are looking for an inspirational Headteacher to lead Castleview School and commit to the school community for the long-term. To be successful, you will need a strong understanding of what makes an excellent school and a track record of measurable impact at primary level. As our new Headteacher, you will provide compelling leadership that will further improve Castleview School for the children it serves. You will bring with you experience of best-practice teaching and learning and opportunities for primary children, ensuring that the school is a hub of the fantastic local community that we are so proud to serve. You will have the highest expectations for an outstanding education for all children from nursery up to Year 6, regardless of need or starting point in life. We are proud to have a flourishing resource base for 27 children on site, and our commitment to inclusive education for all children is at the heart of everything we do at the school. You must be dedicated to inclusive practice and be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to lead our SEND provision and build on the progress already accomplished.

There is no fixed blueprint for where you might currently be working. You could be a serving Headteacher looking for a new challenge, or a Deputy Headteacher ready to lead your own school. What is most important is that you have a proven track record of success and a passion for our children and community, specifically.
