Job overview

An amazing opportunity for an inspiring leader to consolidate and nurture the many strengths of this rapidly improving school.

Woolavington Village Primary School wish to appoint a substantive Headteacher capable of cultivating and further developing the school as a centre for learning excellence.

Our school is small, friendly and hugely ambitious for its children. Nestled in a quiet rural Somerset setting, the school plays a central part in the life of the village community. We pride ourselves on our caring and inclusive approach with a strong belief that trust is an essential element in the learning process for all. We look forward to welcoming a new Headteacher who shares that belief and is passionate about recognising our school’s many strengths and building on these successfully.

Set in stunning grounds, our children enjoy learning inside and outside. They are aged between two and eleven years and split into six classes as well as a Nursery. Our dedicated team of staff put our children’s best interests at the heart of everything we do.
