Headteacher

We are seeking to appoint a highly ambitious and skilled Headteacher with the vision, insight and passion to continue to deliver a high standard of education and care to the most vulnerable groups of students in Stockton-on-Tees.

Our Pupil Referral Unit is a well-established School. It is a complex PRU making provision for KS2, 3 & 4 students who are excluded or at risk of exclusion and for pupils who for physical and medical reasons cannot attend school.

The successful candidate will continue to build upon the significant progress made in the last two years in academic standards and behaviour. This progress was acknowledged in the most recent Ofsted report from June 2015.

The role is challenging and rewarding, and the successful candidate will be fully committed to delivering the education strategies required and continue to lead and develop a talented team.

We wish to hear from candidates with a strong interest in alternative education, inclusion, and SEN, together with a clear understanding of the rigour needed to deliver an outstanding education within a challenging setting.
