Castle Hill Infant and Junior schools are on the same site and have a very large outside area. There are 495 children in total, 234 Infant and 261 Junior, these children need someone who is passionate and fully committed to providing the very best education for all of our pupils – every child matters to us, every lesson, every day. There are currently three schools in Suffolk within the multi-academy trust, all based in Ipswich and with two leadership teams being appointed this school year. The newly appointed Executive Principal, who started in September 2016, is looking forward to appointing leaders who all want to put down roots, to establish excellence within their schools, where joint working, innovative approaches and high standards are core to everything the schools do. Her last school was the Chief Ofsted Inspectors Primary School case study for excellence in his Annual Report 2015. She is waiting to work with the right person as Principal to ensure Castle Hill Infant and Junior School can both be outstanding, as the Infant school already has this Ofsted grading. Castle Hill Infant and Junior School is seeking an inspirational Principal who is passionate and creative with strong leadership skills. The school has been working together for the last year under the guidance of the successful leadership team from the Infant School. The Infant School has recently been approved as a Teaching School alongside a local Nursery School. The current Principal is leaving semi retire and help support the setting up of the Teaching School and the Vice Principal is retiring.
