Job overview

Clements Community Primary School is about to begin an exciting journey to good and beyond as part of the Samuel Ward Academy Trust. Governors and the trust are looking for an inspirational senior leader to take the lead role in building a strong school for our children and to serve our community.

You will have:

  • outstanding classroom practice and a proven track record of raising children's attainment
  • proven leadership and management skills and the gift to communicate a strong vision to pupils, parents and staff
  • the ability to inspire, challenge, motivate and support children, staff, governors and parents.

We can offer:

  • happy, well behaved children who are eager to learn
  • hard-working, professional and committed staff
  • a supportive governing body and trust
  • an exciting professional opportunity to work within a successful and well-regarded Academy Trust.

This is an outstanding opportunity to make a difference at a school looking to make rapid improvements. Training opportunities are significant due to the presence of a teaching school at the heart of the Samuel Ward Academy Trust which is driving outstanding opportunities for professional development, research, teacher training and collaboration between schools and across phases, including Talk for Writing, Mastery development in maths and early years' development with Anna Ephgrave.

We would urge candidates to visit the school prior to an application so that we can answer questions you may have and so that you can engage with our culture and vision for the school.

This role would suit an aspiring Headteacher or an existing Headteacher looking to develop their career within a successful and innovative trust.
