The governors seek to appoint an inspirational and strategic Headteacher to lead Ringshall School following the early retirement of the existing Headteacher.

We are looking for a Headteacher who can:

  • rise to the challenge of an impending Ofsted. The school is fully committed to supporting the professional growth of colleagues at all levels and would offer the appropriate leadership guidance as required
  • guide the school through an exciting transition into a Multi Academy Trust consisting of six other local primary schools in September 2017.

We are a village school that has recently experienced the inclusion of a Year 5 and 6 cohort. The school benefits from a large playing field in addition to a spacious playground. Classrooms are well furnished with modern facilities including electronic white boards and IPads.

Our catchment area includes the villages surrounding Ringshall, Great Bricett, Barking, Wattisham Village and Wattisham Flying Station, home of the British Army's Attack Helicopter Force.
