The Hermitage School is a vibrant 3-form entry junior school with a team of very dedicated governors, hard-working staff and creative pupils. We are looking for an inspirational, passionate and highly effective new Head Teacher. We are part of a group of 5 schools under an umbrella trust known as the Swan Trust

Since our last Ofsted inspection, the school has made significant progress, and we are now looking for an experienced Head Teacher to continue to drive our improvement journey to Outstanding.

As Head Teacher, you will excel at:

• Working tactically to improve our school experience at pace
• Being instrumental to the evolution of the school within The Swan Trust - each school is independent but working in partnership together
• Strengthening our relationships by working closely with our attached infant school
• Attracting pupils from the local area
• Building the trust and partnership with our parents
• Developing staff and leadership team

Candidates should demonstrate a strong mix of emotional intelligence, courage and resilience, with a positive and can-do attitude.

Woking is only 26 mins from London Waterloo by train, on the edge of the North Downs. There are also excellent road links to the M25, M3 and A3.
