Morogoro International School situated 190 kms west of Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania is a not-for-profit mixed day and boarding school offering the British Curriculum from nursery school up to A levels

Founded in 1976, MIS is one of the oldest established international schools in Tanzania.

With 284 students on roll (90% Tanzanian) including 67 boarders and the introduction of CIE A levels in 2015, MIS is an expanding and developing school with a vibrant mix of nationalities within its teaching faculty.

The Board of MIS are now seeking an energetic and hard-working secondary school trained teacher with previous leadership experience in an international school or with ambition to take on their first whole school leadership position. The successful candidate will demonstrate vision, resourcefulness, creative thinking and excellent communication skills. Previous experience of working within the East African region will be a distinct advantage.

In return for successfully continuing the upward momentum of our small but ambitious school, we will provide a salary commensurate with experience and qualifications (must be a fully qualified teacher educated up to a minimum of degree level).
