About St Hilda’s C of E Primary School

St Hilda’s School is a vibrant school family in inner urban Manchester. It has a nursery and 1.5 form intake. The school is representative of the local area which is multi-ethnic, multi-faith and socio-economically mixed. It is unusual in having a roughly equal proportion of black, Asian and white heritage children, and of being similarly balanced in its socio-economic intake as well.

St Hilda’s has a long history of being a popular and successful local school, very oversubscribed each year. Results in 2011 were excellent. Staff are dedicated and are moving learning forward significantly and excitingly.

The school has a strong and supportive governing body with ambitious plans and a wealth of enthusiastic parents eager to help the school. It has a strong relationship with its local church, St Hilda’s which is growing and prioritises the relationship with the school.
