Headteacher

The governors, staff, pupils and parents are looking to appoint a dedicated leader to uphold the school’s values and Christian ethos and take the school onto the next stage in its development from January 2021.

We are a warm and friendly voluntary controlled primary school serving the community of Staverton. Our children are enthusiastic and eager to learn in a happy caring environment and alongside the day to day management of the school the new Headteacher will be expected to inspire, motivate and enthuse our learning community and take us forward.

Applications are invited from Headteachers or Deputy Headteachers with outstanding leadership experience.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience of leadership in a C of E School, including knowledge of the current SIAMS framework.
• Be an excellent practitioner and put great learning at the centre of everything they do.
• Prioritise staff well-being and continued professional development.
• Be inclusive, aspirational and ambitious for all members of the wider community.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of providing inspirational, strategic, and professional leadership.
• Have a secure understanding of all matters relating to safeguarding.
• Be a team leader possibly with experience of coaching and mentoring.
• Work hard to ensure that every child is supported and challenged to maximise their potential.

Salary: L15 – L21 (£57, 986 - £66, 517)
