Fircroft is a vibrant two-form entry community primary school near Tooting Bec tube station, educating children from 3-11 years of age.

Due to the retirement of our current Head, we are seeking a dynamic Headteacher to build on the school’s solid success, inspiring colleagues and pupils alike to reach new heights.

Lead a welcoming community

We have a thriving PTA and a knowledgeable and supportive board of governors, all of whom are committed to the ongoing professional development and wellbeing of all staff, including our new Headteacher. The school staff are professional, motivated and talented and pupils are well-behaved and happy to come to school.

Transport links are good and our creative curriculum is enhanced by regular trips to London’s museums, exhibitions and rich cultural heritage. Children also benefit from the nearby beautiful green spaces of Tooting and Wandsworth Common.

We have recently extended our lovely Victorian Building with a new EYFS unit. There is now a fantastic opportunity to take our old Nursery space in new directions to further enhance the school’s offer.
