Job overview
MJPS is a primary school with up to 50% pupils from across the Jewish community and 50% pupils of all other faiths, beliefs and none. Following the move to its purpose built permanent home in 2015 the school has now started recruiting for two form entry.
We are seeking an inspirational and experienced leader of any faith or belief to build on the early success of this wonderful Free school opened in 2013.
MJPS is a happy, community school which is growing with innovative, dedicated teachers and teaching assistants, committed to the school’s ethos and values.
In addition to a strong academic profile we aim for enrichment – in areas of sport, foreign languages, music, drama and sustainability. Working towards maintaining our Ofsted judgement of Outstanding is a priority.
As a diverse, cross-community school with many pupils of different faiths and beliefs, we enjoy links with local synagogues, a wide range of other faith groups, schools and organisations and want to ensure the school continues to contribute to these valuable relationships.
The appointment is subject to the current conditions of service for Headteachers contained in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
