Omega Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a dynamic leader to become the next Headteacher of Burtonwood Community Primary School. We are looking for a strategic leader who can lead by example, holding and articulating the Trust’s vision and values and focusing on providing an excellent education for all children.

Burtonwood Community Primary School, part of the Omega Multi-Academy Trust, is a one-form entry primary school in a semi-rural setting within the Warrington Borough. The school is close to the motorway network and easily accessible from many locations in North-West England.

Burtonwood Community Primary School has an excellent reputation in the local area. It was judged as ‘Outstanding’ in March 2017, and this currently remains the case following a Section 8 inspection in February 2022. A strong and dedicated team continue the school improvement journey to provide an exceptional curriculum delivered through inspirational teaching and learning.

Omega Multi-Academy Trust received an extremely positive outcome from Ofsted’s MAT Summary Evaluation, commenting on our rigorous approach to leadership and staff development and strong commitment to staff wellbeing. Inspectors commented that our offer makes us an attractive employer. The Trust strongly believes in the power of genuine collaboration and school-to-school support, so as a trust, every opportunity that arises to share best practice is embraced.

Applications are being sought by leaders with a proven track record at either Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher level. The right candidate must have a strong desire to provide strategic direction that will encourage pupils to become successful and independent learners and to ensure that Burtonwood Community Primary School retains their Outstanding judgement.
