The Governors of St John’s Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational & ambitious Headteacher to expertly lead, grow & inspire our school community through its next phase of development. Applicants must:

  • be a practising Catholic, committed to the ethos and vision of Catholic education in today’s society;
  • be able to nurture and build upon the success & have the ambition to move the school forward;
  • have proven leadership skills, vision, passion, and motivation to respond successfully to changes in primary education, including creative collaboration with other schools, and is someone who will continually strive to raise standards and expectations in our already successful school;
  • have a strong belief that every child has unique gifts to achieve their maximum potential;
  • be able to provide confident and inspirational leadership for staff, pupils, and the wider school community;
  • have experience of leading a team through change & improvement
  • be able to work with colleagues to continue to develop an aspirational and engaging broad curriculum;
  • have a highly developed understanding of what makes the best teaching & learning & a proven ability to develop staff to achieve excellence;
