Could you be the next leader of Cranbourne Primary School to succeed our retiring Headteacher? Will you be able to develop the culture and ethos of our school where everyone is valued and encouraged to succeed, and to inspire and motivate pupils, staff and all other members of the school community to continue our journey to drive progress and raise achievement across the whole school?

You will need to be a passionate leader who:

  • is a dynamic, motivational, experienced headteacher with a proven track record of improving teaching and learning
  • leads by example and can demonstrate raising standards and levels of achievement across the whole school
  • is able to inspire and motivate our team
  • is an excellent, engaging communicator who will develop strong relationships with children, parents and the wider community.

In return, our rural school in Berkshire can offer you:

  • well-behaved pupils with boundless enthusiasm, who are eager to learn
  • motivated staff committed to delivering outstanding teaching
  • engaged and supportive parents, governors, and the local community
  • a vibrant and inclusive environment that balances our 300-year-old history with brand new classrooms.

Could you continue to develop our values? Cranbourne Primary School’s child-centred ethos places equal worth on pupils’ happiness and security as it does on progress and achievement. Whilst we are proud of our academic success, we are prouder still of the outstanding safeguarding, wellbeing and acquisition of life skills we provide our pupils in preparation for life outside and beyond school life.

Cranbourne Primary School is an established Good school that has been managed highly effectively over many years. Our aspiration is to embrace positive change and remain at the forefront of best practice in education, and officially become an Outstanding school at our next Ofsted inspection.

We have active cluster links with local primary schools (maintained and private), and an enthusiastic, fundraising PTA. We are continually looking for new ways to extend our contribution in to the wider community.

Would you like to be leading a friendly and committed staff, and being ultimately responsible for the schooling of over 200 happy and enthusiastic pupils?

Our whole school community looks forward to welcoming and supporting the right candidate for this rewarding role; we hope this might be you.
