This is a unique opportunity to further develop Childhaven as a centre of excellence for Early Years in an environment that exudes infectious enthusiasm and enjoyment of learning. 

We are seeking to appoint a Headteacher with extensive knowledge of EYFS and early childhood development.  To succeed you must have drive and ambition to further develop collaborative working, financial clarity and strategic vision to ensure our long term viability.

You must be a proven leader and manager with the ability to build on our success, maximise pupil numbers and deliver outstanding progress across the school community. An excellent communicator, you must have a good understanding of the needs and demands of a nursery school such as Childhaven, together with the skills needed to effectively influence stakeholders.

You will benefit from the support of a team of experienced staff who share a very strong vision for the school and believe passionately in the same values and a supportive and caring Governing body. 

Scarborough is a spectacular seaside town on England’s North Sea coast, within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Where countryside meets the coast. As well as its stunning scenery, quaint coastal areas and glorious beaches, Scarborough offers a whole range of things to see and do. Home to open air concerts, theatre and the arts.

Scarborough boasts easy transport links to London, Leeds and Manchester.
