Job overview
The Governors of Holme Grange are seeking a Headteacher from September 2025. This vacancy arises following the decision of the current Headteacher, Claire Robinson, to step down after 16 years. Holme Grange is a thriving co-educational, independent day school located in Wokingham, Berkshire, set in over 20 acres of beautiful countryside, providing an idyllic environment for pupils to learn and flourish.
The new Headteacher will have the rewarding opportunity to lead the school, championing its unique ethos and driving the strategic development of both educational provision and facilities. We are looking for a leader with vision, resilience, forward-thinking, and a genuine passion for nurturing an inclusive school, supported by an excellent team of staff and a strong community. Safeguarding and child protection are top priorities, and we expect the next Headteacher to uphold these at the heart of their leadership.
Thanks to sound financial management, Holme Grange is well-positioned to navigate the challenges of the current economic and political landscape.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant school with innovative, creative, enthusiastic, and inspirational pupils and staff. If you are eager to lead in a setting committed to providing the finest education, care, and opportunities, Holme Grange is the place for you.
If you believe you have the qualities to lead Holme Grange, we would be delighted to hear from you. Our school offers not just an exciting challenge but the chance to lead a community where every pupil, staff member, and family is valued.
Join us at Holme Grange School – where ambition, bravery, and belief come to life.
