Vision for Education is currently looking for a Health and Beauty tutor to join a team in an alternative provision based in Wakefield. 

This is a challenging yet rewarding position in a PRU facility located in Wakefield. This provision caters for students predominantly with SEMH. Other needs include Autism, PMLD, Development Delay, OCD, SLD, ODD . Some young students may show signs of multiple combination of these needs. 

It is imperative that you have the right level of behaviour management and personality to support the school. 

The ideal candidate must have 

• Experience in a similar setting  

• Have a background working with children with challenging behaviour. 

• Team Teach (Vision offers free CPD and training if not) 

Vision for Education are assisting a Wakefield provision as they search for a Health and Beauty tutor to join them on a part time basis from September. 

Our client is a 5-19 provision where most students currently have an SEN or EHC plan in place or are in the process of being assessed. 

Students difficulties vary from Speech, Language or communication needs and moderate learning difficulties. Some students also have complex needs. 

Primarily SEMH, Autism, MLD, Development delay, OCD, SLD, ODD. Some younger students may present a combination of these needs. 

We are looking for a candidate with patience, the ability to build strong relationships, plan engaging lessons, providing pastoral support as well as effective tuition.
