Job overview

Canons High School is a vibrant and dynamic multicultural school community in Edgware, NW London. Our school is renowned for being one in which people matter. Relationships are strong, opportunities for progression are many and the personal and professional development of adults and children is at the heart of what we do.

At Canons, we pride ourselves on the training and development of all our staff so that students are taught effectively and supported within and beyond the classroom to the highest levels. School leaders at all levels are well-equipped to use their professional judgment and a wide range of information to challenge and engage all students to achieve success, identify underachievement, act upon it and help students get back on track. We offer a well-balanced three year KS3 programme that enables students to enjoy success in their GCSE exams, which begin in Year 10.

With an increased popularity of Health and Social Care at both KS4 and KS5 we are looking to recruit a teacher of Health and Social Care to work within the Faculty of Sport, Health and Well being. The Faculty has a strong ethos of teamwork and support and a commitment to continuing professional development. This would suit a colleague who has a passion and knowledge of Health and Social care and wiling to create and lead inspiring lessons for pupils who wish to pursue a career in this sector.

The closing date is Monday 18th October at 12pm
