Join our team at Danecourt School as a School Health Care Assistant!

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, term time only

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Do you have experience in providing personal care and managing medical needs within a school environment? If so, we want you to join us in supporting our pupils and staff.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and flexible person to join our team as a Health Care Assistant. The successful candidate will work alongside classroom staff to support the medical needs of the children attending Danecourt.

We are looking for someone with:-

  • Experience of supporting children with medical needs  in a school environment 
  • Basic first aid qualification and a care certificate is desirable
  • Willingness to attend/undertake relevant training 
  • The ability to respond and communicate with children. 


Danecourt is part of the Maritime Multi-Academy Trust, an innovative partnership of Academies in Greenwich, Kent & Medway. Our academies transform through collaboration and an entrepreneurial curriculum which equips children with life skills.

Danecourt is a special school catering for primary aged children who have special educational needs. The school caters for children with a wide breadth of need including complex learning difficulties, autism and social emotional mental health needs. We enjoy a range of specialist facilities and additional therapy support along with outdoor learning spaces and sensory play rooms.
