Job overview

The Treloar Trust provides education, care, therapy, nursing and independence training to around 170 children and young people with physical disabilities from all over the UK. Our aim is to prepare these young people for adult life, giving them the confidence and skills to achieve their full potential.

 

We are seeking an organised, efficient and approachable individual to provide support to the onsite clinical team. You will be based in a busy medical centre, within the school and college, which supports young people with physical disabilities.

 

The post is perfect for someone with excellent office management skills and experience, and who enjoys working with people, and is keen to make a difference to the lives of our students. You will be familiar with supporting senior managers, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to demonstrate initiative. Proficiency with MS Word and Excel is essential.  

 

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • To provide personal assistance to the Head of Healthcare and Nursing, managing diaries, monitoring projects and actions due, providing proactive administrative support in a busy environment.
  • Providing day-to-day support to the busy clinical team
  • Co-ordinate contracted and ad hoc clinics, including visiting health professionals
  • Monitor and document health data accurately and in compliance with GDPR
  • Administrative duties include filing, preparing agendas, taking minutes, uploading documents, answering the telephone and correspondence, dealing with queries from staff, parents and a variety of outside agencies, co-ordinating room bookings, meetings and clinical appointments.
  • A customer focussed approach is essential.
