Job overview
This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to take on wide-ranging responsibility for a variety of related compliance requirements plus Health and Safety, Fire Safety, policy and implementation (in accordance with legislation).
You will need outstanding communication and influencing skills and a high degree of professional credibility to carry out this standalone role in co-ordination and co-operation with managers across the College.
Applicants must be of graduate calibre, with a number of years’ experience in health and safety, and fire risk management. Capable of working with a high level of responsibility and initiative, you will ideally have prior experience in the education sector, and must also be willing to develop the role beyond legislative requirements to encompass broader College-wide risk management and compliance.
Salary will be up to £35,000 per annum. Benefits include a pension scheme to which the College contributes up to 10% of salary, free gym membership and free lunches when on duty.
