Job overview

The Treloar Trust provides education, care, therapy, nursing and independence training to around 170 children and young people with physical disabilities from all over the UK. Our aim is to prepare these young people for adult life, giving them the confidence and skills to achieve their full potential.


We are looking to appoint a registered healthcare professional to support and deliver clinical training, alongside twenty nurses and a large MDT. You will work closely with the Clinical Educator and join a busy but supportive team who love making a real difference to the lives of our students, by ensuring their care is of a consistently high standard.


You will have experience of teaching, or sharing practice, in clinical settings, be confident in a range of clinical skills and understand the implications of delegation. This stimulating role mostly involves face to face training, competency assessments and practice checking. You will be a committed, professional role model, with good organisational skills and a positive, proactive attitude. You must be able to work flexibly to support staff on all shifts, although the majority of hours are Monday to Friday, term time.   

 

We provide comprehensive training, and have electronic systems for care notes and medicine administration. We have access to NHS training providers, and a generous training budget for professional development. We are rated Outstanding by Ofsted and CQC.
