HEARING IMPAIRED TEACHING ASSISTANT

The School is seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, an enthusiastic Hearing Impaired Teaching Assistant to compliment the work currently being done by the Hearing Impaired Unit. The skills required for the role include excellent communication and organisation, as well as being able to support in mainstream classes in a calm and professional manner. The right person will be accountable to the Head of the Hearing Impaired Unit.
Scale 5 posts involve a higher level knowledge across a range of SEN. There would be a greater contribution to the planning and assessment of learning needs and a more proactive involvement in the provision of support.
