We are seeking a dedicated High School Information Technology Teacher to join our team. This role involves teaching IT courses at the secondary school level while coordinating technology integration across the school to enhance teaching and learning.
Position: High School Information Technology Teacher
Location: Kuwait
Curriculum: Common Core
Education Stage: High/Secondary School
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant teaching experience
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective IT lessons aligned with the Common Core curriculum for high school students.
- Coordinate technology initiatives within the school to support teachers and improve digital literacy.
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate current technologies and promote critical thinking skills.
- Support students in developing practical IT skills including programming, networking, cybersecurity, and digital media.
- Collaborate with faculty members on integrating technology into various subjects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies relevant to education.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching IT at the secondary/high school level.
- Strong understanding of Common Core standards as they relate to technology education.
- Proficiency with educational software tools and classroom technologies.
- Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously as part of coordination duties.
