Job overview

A small, enthusiastic and supportive team are looking to recruit an additional motivated individual who has a passion for encouraging higher education students to maximise their potential in their studies.   

The post holder will join a leading further education college which delivers high quality higher education programmes and is one of only a small number of colleges nationally that hold Foundation Degree Awarding Powers. The College offers a wide ranging higher education provision; including Foundation Degrees, Honours Degrees, Higher National Certificates and Diplomas, and Access to Higher Education Programmes.  

The ideal candidate will have: previous recent experience of working with higher education students; excellent verbal and written communication skills; an enquiring mind; and the ability to multi-task and time manage effectively.   

There will also be the requirement to maintain spread sheets, databases and other online systems to record, collate and analyse statistical information for the College and HEFCE who are funding this fixed term post as part of the Catalyst B Addressing Barriers to Student Success project.
