LAE Tottenham seeks to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic individual to coordinate a high quality university preparation programme for students.

LAE Tottenham is a selective 16-19 free school, which offers a rigorous academic curriculum alongside a broad co-curricular programme and exceptional pastoral support enabling students to access high tariff universities. In 2020-21, nearly 75% of students won places at Russell Group universities, from a cohort in which 51% of students had been eligible for free school meals at secondary school.

The Higher Education Coordinator role has a key function in ensuring the smooth process of LAET students applying to higher education and also in considering both university study and career plans.

This role is suitable for a graduate looking to gain further experience working within Higher Education guidance.

The role is advertised on a full-time basis, 40 hours per week. The role is term-time plus two weeks and is offered on a fixed-term, one year basis.

The place for Academic rigour, LAE Tottenham is a 16-19 free school which opened in September 2017 in state of the art premises next to White Hart Lane stadium, offering academically rigorous A Level subjects.

The principal education sponsor, Highgate School, provides significant educational support, including seconded teaching staff. The business sponsor, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, provides funding and employment links. LAE Tottenham also benefits from eight other independent school partners each offering departmental support, CPD, expertise and opportunities for shared student experiences.

LAE Tottenham offers an academic curriculum focusing on ‘hard’ A Level courses as defined by leading universities which is complemented by an active co-curricular programme. Last year, the average A Level grade achieved by LAET students was an A grade with 20% winning places at a top 10 global university, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, Imperial and Harvard.

LAE Tottenham is the Sunday Times 'State 6th Form College of the Year 2020-21' and is graded "outstanding" in all areas by Ofsted.
