The University Centre at North Lindsey College is seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual to assume responsibility for our undergraduate sports portfolio. Ideally, the successful applicant will have a degree in Exercise Physiology and/or Sports Coaching.

The role is particularly significant within the national policy context for the development of higher level technical skills. North Lindsey College is placed in the top 20 providers of technical education at Levels 4 and 5 nationally. In addition to the discrete facilities which accommodate our 1,000+ higher education students enrolled on a wide range of subjects, the Sports area has new physiology testing laboratory facilities providing industry standard equipment to enhance the student learning experience.

This provides an excellent opportunity to expand this provision through the creation of new recruitment pathways and relevant links with external agencies.

North Lindsey College is a mixed, non-denominational further education college in North Lincolnshire serving students from the age of 16 and above. The college, located in Scunthorpe has approximately 1,800 students attending every year.

North Lindsey College was established in 1953, then known as North Lindsey Technical College. It offers a wide range of learning facilities for students, including a fitness suite, hair and beauty salon, animal care centre and travel centre. In 2014 it was identified as good with outstanding leadership and management by Ofsted.
