Job overview
We are looking for a teaching assistant to support teaching and learning, cover sessions when needed and run interventions to help our children thrive and make progress. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and are committed to being part of a team.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
· Has experience of working in a school directly working with children in class.
· Has good behaviour management strategies.
· Has a good standard of spoken and written English.
· Able to cover a whole class with planning support.
· Liaise with teachers and other leaders regarding learning in the classes taught.
· Feedback to parents/carers when needed.
· Ability to work under pressure & ability to work on own initiative.
· May have undertaken the HLTA qualification.
