Higher Level Learning Partner (HLTA)

Having recently had our Ofsted School Inspection (Feb 25) our school’s development journey has been recognised and validated. We have a very clear and exciting vision about what we need to achieve for our children, so everybody’s high aspirations can be fulfilled. As the inspecting team said ’Kingsholm is a school who welcomes and accepts everyone regardless of background’ - everyone really does matter here. If you would like to be part of our inclusive culture and help shape the future of our school and community, we would be delighted to hear from you.

We are looking to employ a confident and enthusiastic Higher Level Learning Partner to work across the school. This post will be a permanent contract (following successful six-month probationary period).  

Applicants must have appropriate Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualifications/experience. Basic skills in English and Maths, GCSE or equivalent are essential.  

This is a super opportunity for candidates looking to pursue a career as a learning partner or those who are looking for a stepping stone into teaching. Many of our learning partners, past and present, are also qualified teachers who have benefitted from further experience in a school before beginning their careers.
