35 hours per week, term time only, plus 1 week

The Governors are seeking to appoint a professional, enthusiastic, highly motivated and flexible individual who will work both independently and alongside teachers, providing valuable support for Teaching and Learning activities using their own initiatives. The successful candidate will provide support in lessons but will also mentor students, teach small groups and the class. They will also use specialist knowledge for planning lessons and developing support materials and provide care and supervision to young people.  The role will work across all subjects and year groups but the successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with students of all abilities. The successful candidate will need to develop relationships with these students to maximize their learning potential over their school career. 

The post requires NVQ III or above and experience of working with children is essential. 

We are part of Finham Park Multi-Academy Trust and as such are committed to designing a 0-19 co-constructed curriculum and working across the child’s whole educational journey.
