Higher Level Teaching Assistant/Cover Supervisor -  Science   

36 hours per week, term time,

 pay point 26-29 – actual salary 21,669 - £23,866pa 

 Ashmole Academy is looking to appoint a HLTA/Cover Supervisor for our Science  department who will be responsible for supervising classes during the absence of teaching staff.  Under the direction and supervision of teaching staff, the successful candidate will also provide learning support and assistance to pupils in and out of the classroom and may also work with small groups of pupils and on a one-to-one basis.    

The successful candidate will have a science degree, will have a passion to inspire and maintain high quality of teaching and learning and have a flexible approach to their job role.   This may be suitable for candidates who are considering a career in teaching and the School Direct Programme.
