Job overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team and support pupils in upper KS2. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and supporting high quality teaching and learning.
The successful candidate work closely with teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences, provide targeted interventions, and, where appropriate, lead whole class learning activities to support pupil progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teaching and learning within Upper Key Stage 2.
Deliver planned learning activities to
Provide targeted intervention programmes to support pupil progress.
Work collaboratively with teachers to assess and monitor pupil achievement.
Promote positive behaviour and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Contribute to the planning, preparation, and evaluation of learning activities.
Support pupils social, emotional, and academic development.

Ofsted Report
The inspectors were full of praise for pupils, noting that they show “high levels of commitment to their studies” and that they “value the excellent education they are receiving”. This means that all pupils, including those with SEND, “achieve exceptionally well” and “flourish” at the school. Importantly, the inspectors were equally impressed by pupils’ mature and respectful attitudes. They note that they “enjoy being part of this diverse school community” and are “courteous in their interactions” with their peers and members of staff.
