We are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our thriving SEND department.  The role of the HLTA is to work with teachers to organise and support teaching and learning activities for classes. To be responsible for an area of SEND; for example Speech, Language & Communication, pupils with ASD or Exam Access Arrangements.  This is a unique opportunity for innovative and creative practitioners with a drive and passion to ensure that all children achieve, to be part of our outstanding team.

Yavneh College is located adjacent to the Elstree Film and Television Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. The town of Borehamwood lies within Green Belt countryside on the outskirts of north London. Borehamwood and Elstree Station, 10 minutes’ walk from the school, provides a fast and frequent train service south to Central London and north to St Albans and Luton. The main bus station for Borehamwood is a three-minute walk from the school and provides services to the local Hertfordshire towns and north London suburbs.

Yavneh College is an 11-18 co-educational comprehensive and was granted Academy status in July 2011.

The school opened in September 2006 with its first intake of Year 7 pupils and has added one cohort each year.

Yavneh College has been constructed as a £30m campus for 1,000 pupils. We have state-of-the-art facilities and equipment throughout the site. The school has enjoyed a reputation for excellence from its inception.

Our Ofsted inspection in March 2011 graded Yavneh College as ‘Outstanding’ finding that:
