Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

St Luke’s is a happy, over-subscribed Primary School, which opened in September 2011 and presently has children up Year 5. Our vision is to develop an excellent school for the local community, where the Christian values of faith, hope and love are evident in everything that happens. Through nurturing our children, both academically and spiritually, we aim to provide them with secure foundations for life, so that they leave St Luke’s with an excellent all round education and a love of learning.

The school is growing year by year and for this reason, we are looking to appoint an HLTA to support children and teachers in across the school. The role will also involve undertaking some administrative tasks and supervising the children during the lunch time break. 

You will:

• have experience of working in a primary school
• be an enthusiastic self-starter 
• be excited to play an integral part in continuing to establish our new school
• be able to work in a small, flexible team to help create an outstanding environment in which our children can thrive

Salary: NJC Scale 4, £18,070 - £20,138 pro rata + Inner London Weighting

Permanent contract starting on 18th April 2017 or 1st September 2017

Term time only (39 weeks)

Full time (35 hours/week)
