Are you (or could you be) a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated Access & Inclusion team and support students in achieving their full potential?

The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and the Access & Inclusion Faculty to support students with a range of learning needs, including those working below age-related expectations and those with SEND.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working as an HLTA or an experienced teaching assistant looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in supporting high-quality learning across the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver learning activities and interventions to individuals and small groups

  • Support teachers in planning and delivering effective learning opportunities

  • Help students develop confidence, independence and resilience in their learning

  • Contribute to the support and progress of students with additional needs

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, HLTAs and Teaching Assistants within the Access & Inclusion team

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting learning in a secondary school or similar setting

  • Is passionate about helping young people succeed

  • Has strong communication and organisational skills

  • Is proactive, adaptable and able to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Will support the values and ethos of a Church of England school
