Heron Academy Lambeth (formerly The Michael Tippett School – now part of the London South East Academies Trust) is a secondary school for pupils with complex learning and medical needs.
As an experienced HLTA, you will take responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes and monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils achievement, progress and development.
You will be responsible for the management and development of Physical Education within the school which could include addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers of learning.
Heron Academy Lambeth is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Formerly known as The Michael Tippett School, Heron Academy is on a journey of rapid improvement, ensuring that every child and young person is supported to achieve their full potential.
