Job overview

Due to expanding provision from September 2022, we have new posts to expand our current team at Marshland High School, part of West Norfolk Academies Trust. We are seeking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) who specialises in complex needs, SEMH & speech and language development.

To support a named pupil & take a lead role alongside the teacher with the implementation of the individual pupils support plan to ensure that the school is meeting the specific needs of the pupil and supporting the pupil in lessons following a differentiated curriculum.

West Norfolk Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Appointments are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check with barred list.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 but Exceptions Order may apply.
